Developed Markets

PineBridge employs 36 equity investment professionals throughout the major developed markets regions. The team invests more than US $3 billion across the market capitalization spectrum. Teams covering smaller capitalization companies focus primarily on the regions they are in, as the companies they analyze often operate exclusively in those regions. Those responsible for larger companies work in partnership across borders, as the companies covered tend to operate globally. All of the teams follow the same investment process and always encourage the mutual exchange of investment ideas. A rigorous sell discipline underscored by a "suspect list" that removes human bias aids the team in risk management.*

The Focus equity strategies are concentrated portfolios that consist of our analysts' highest conviction stock ideas. Focus is a pure bottom-up idea driven construct that is not reliant on a benchmark. Risk is controlled by limiting the number of conviction ideas to three per sector. A highlight of our Focus process is a practice we call "Co-Research" in which analysts and portfolio managers work to simultaneously conduct in-depth due diligence on companies that have met our fundamental evaluation criteria.
