PineBridge Wins Chief Investment Officer Award for Innovation

PineBridge Investments’ multi-asset team received an award for innovation in asset management by Chief Investment Officer (CIO). The Innovation Awards celebrate the very best of institutional investing and recognize contributions by asset owners and managers toward innovation and improving outcomes. Finalists and winners are chosen by the CIO editorial team in conjunction with an advisory board of chief investment officers.

The multi-asset team seeks to provide multi-asset solutions for investor challenges that are unique to each market cycle.

Michael J. Kelly, CFA and global head of multi-asset, accepted the award. He said, “in recent years, discussions about multi-asset investing have been dominated by debates over how to allocate between stocks and bonds, derivatives, and long/short strategies. Our inclusion of a productivity allocation has changed how we think about multi-asset portfolios by providing a tactical mechanism to express a strong thematic conviction and, ultimately, an additive impact for portfolios.”

We applaud all the nominees and winners. Visit CIO to read more about their accomplishments.

The CIO Industry Innovation Awards are split into two general categories: asset management/servicing and asset owners. The CIO editorial team makes the final decisions as to finalists and eventual winners with input from their awards Advisory Board, as well as surveys and data where applicable.
