Our Commitment to Corporate Responsibility

We believe corporate responsibility and an appreciation of environmental, social, and governance factors are essential to achieving long-term success.

As investors, we know that attention to ESG issues benefits companies in terms of both investment returns and risk mitigation over the medium to long term. This is why we thoroughly analyze how the companies we invest in are improving on ESG issues and advocate for change to improve outcomes.

This focus on ESG extends to our own operations. As responsible corporate citizens, we must seek to create better outcomes for our employees, our clients, and the world we live in. This means taking active steps to tackle our environmental footprint, implementing positive action in the communities where we live and work, and actively advocating for change across the financial industry.

We advance these goals through four areas of influence:

Taking Action

In an effort to define, strengthen, and differentiate our approach to corporate responsibility, PineBridge has established a steering committee composed of 10 members of the organization, diversified by region and function. The Corporate Responsibility Steering Committee oversees the firm’s subcommittees dedicated to ESG Investment, Stewardship, Company Responsibility, and Diversity & Inclusion. This includes regularly reviewing the subcommittees’ progress toward measurable annual goals.
