James Fisher

Mr. Fisher joined PineBridge in 2017 to launch and lead the firm’s middle market private credit business. Mr. Fisher has over 40 years of experience lending to and investing in middle market companies nationwide, including 22 years at JPMorgan Chase, where he was one of the founding members of and lead the bank’s Middle Market Leveraged Finance business. During his time at JPMorgan Chase, Mr. Fisher occupied various credit and senior management positions, eventually becoming the Division Executive for JPMorgan Chase’s Middle Market Structure Finance Division, which included Business Credit (asset based lending), Leasing (equipment and vendor finance) and Middle Market Leveraged Finance, as well as the Middle Market M&A team. Mr. Fisher left the Bank in 2003 to join Callidus Capital Management, a portfolio company of Allied Capital, where he launched and lead Callidus Capital Finance, a middle market senior loan business (ultimately becoming Allied Capital Finance). In 2013, Mr. Fisher joined Business Development Corp of America (“BDCA”, a non-traded BDC) to lead its middle market senior loan business, becoming President of BDCA in 2015.

Mr. Fisher received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Union College in New York and completed the Stanford Executive Program at Stanford University in California.
