Steve Hasnain, CPA, CFA

Mr. Hasnain joined the firm in 2002 and is a Portfolio Manager with the Leveraged Finance team, where he is responsible for managing US CLO portfolios and serves as a member of both the CLO Tranche and Leveraged Loan Credit Committees. He is also Co-Director of Leveraged Finance Research, where he leads systems and processes across the platform, including credit analysis integration through the firm’s proprietary Credit Analysis Platform (CAP) and ESG integration framework. Before his current role, Mr. Hasnain was a Credit Research Analyst covering a number of industries, including technology, telecom, chemicals, and food and beverage. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Hasnain worked in consulting and public accounting for five years and was also a money market trader at ANZ Banking Group. He received a BBA from the Institute of Business Administration, University of Karachi, and an MBA with a concentration in Finance from UCLA Anderson School of Management. Mr. Hasnain is a certified public accountant and a CFA charterholder.
