PineBridge Investments Names Nicolas Kopitsis as Head of Intermediary Distribution, APAC and EMEA

Hong Kong/London/Singapore, 9 January 2024 -- PineBridge Investments (“PineBridge”), a private, global asset manager focused on active, high-conviction investing, has named Nicolas Kopitsis as Head of Intermediary Distribution for APAC and EMEA, effective 1 January 2024.

Based in Singapore, Mr. Kopitsis will oversee PineBridge’s APAC and EMEA intermediary business strategy and distribution of the firm’s investment products and capabilities to private banks, and family offices, retail banks, insurers, and distribution platforms, with a focus on the UK, Switzerland, and key Asian markets. Mr. Kopitsis brings to his new role over 20 years of intermediary experience in both Europe and Asia, a deep network of relationships, and a proven track record.

This strategic alignment will help PineBridge to consolidate its sales and marketing strategy, solutions, and client servicing for private banking networks, many of which themselves increasingly operate across borders, reflecting the firm’s future-forward growth strategy in the intermediary channel.

Mr. Kopitsis joined PineBridge in 2021 as Head of Wealth Management for Asia. Prior to joining PineBridge, Mr. Kopitsis was Head of Intermediary Distribution, Asia ex-Japan, for BNY Mellon in Singapore, where he was responsible for managing operations, developing, and delivering differentiated sales and product strategies for clients in the region.
