Michael Karpik is the Chief Operating Officer for Metlife Investment Management.
Michael was most recently Chief Operating Officer for PineBridge Investments, which was acquired by Metlife Investment Management in December 2025. Prior to this, he served as CEO for State Street Global Advisors EMEA, following a range of senior industry roles. Michael continues to be a Director on Boards spanning both fund and operating companies in the U.S., Europe and Asia. He has 38 years of industry experience.
Michael has a BS in finance and economics from Gannon University and is a CFA Charterholder.
