Spotlight on United Nations Global Compact (UNGC)

Our commitment to UNGC is a key step in our effort to address the challenges facing our world.

The UN Global Compact (UNGC) is a non-binding United Nations pact to encourage businesses and firms worldwide to adopt sustainable and socially responsible policies, and to report on their implementation.

By incorporating the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact into strategies, policies and procedures, and establishing a culture of integrity, companies are not only upholding their basic responsibilities to people and planet, but also setting the stage for long-term success.

UNGC launched with Ten Principles supporting responsible practices in: human rights, labor, environment, and anti- corruption

  • Communication of Progress (COP) renewed submission style in 2022/2023

Spotlight on Principles for Responsible Investment

As a signatory of the Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI), we are committed to advancing our responsible investment efforts, and to the industry at large.

PRI is the world’s leading proponent of responsible investment, seeking to:

  • Understand the investment implications of environmental, social and governance (ESG) factor

  • Support its international network of investor signatories in incorporating these factors into their investment and ownership decisions

PRI acts in the long-term interests:

  • of its signatories,

  • the financial markets and economies in which they operate,

  • and ultimately of the environment and society as a whole.
